Vortexgun is a first-person platform game with shooter and puzzle game elements


​Player is armed with the Vortexgun, an extraordinary weapon
that can emits three different types of rays :


Red, Blue and Yellow

Rays emitted by the Vortexgun interact with most of the minerals that made up the game world

​Launch the Joycon in mid-air, so it pierces on itself, so you can catch it on the fly.
The wrist movement you make is important :
the faster the Joycon spin in air, the more the Vortexgun is charged
Launches the Right Joycon to charge the Vortexgun with Red energy
Launches the Left Joycon to charge the Vortegun with Blue energy
Launches Both Joycon at the same time to charge the Vortexgun with Yellow energy

Imagine you running in a corridor, pursued by a giant moving stone sphere.
If the ball reach you, it crush you.
In front of you obstacles you have dodge and walls of blocks of Denmium.
Player have to charge the Vortexgun of Blue energy, to destroy the Denmiun blocks

Player, for example, used to move the character using the left Joycon stick.
While launching the left Joycon to charge the gun, Player can continue to move
the character using the right Joycon stick, 
and jumping pressing the side button Sr

Imagine that Player loading not manage to catch the Joycon, which fall on the floor.
He don't lose immediately the level, but he can can still play using only one Joycon, moving and jumping.
He can also try to lower and pick the fallen Joycon, to shoot the energetic bullets
needed to destroy the walls of Denmium and clear the level

​The game world is characterized by many different types of minerals
with extraordinary properties that react to the Vortexgun energetic waves
There are also numerous machines that can react to the Vortexgun's rays.
​Let's see some examples :
​Switch

​These tools are directly linked to more complex structures.
Their use and the way interact with the Vortexgun change case by case

​​For examples a Switch is linked at this system of moving platforms.
When you hit the Switch the system is turned on.
If you hit it with Blue energy, the track move clockwise.
​If you hit it with
Red energy the track move counterclockwise.
If you hit the Switch with Yellow energy the system is turned off
​Mirror Screen

This defensive screen is set at protection of material blocks. It absorb half of the energy waves of the shoot,
sending it back to you. To balance the decompensation you have to shoot a second energy wave, ​​
​opposing the energy you just shoot against the screen

When you shot against a Mirror Screen, the ray is reflected

Immediately loads the Vortexgun, with energy opposite to the shot,
​to compensate, and destroy the Mirror Screen


If you are not skilled enough
you could suffer the reflected ray


​If you are not able to balance the ray,
​you can still dodge it, and try again
​Orb Gate

On the surface of the gates, a certain number of orbs appears. 
​
An orb assumes a random color, between Red, Blue and Yellow. 
​
Hit an orb with the energy corresponding to its color ​to unlock it. 
​After you hit an orb, it remains unlocked for three seconds before reset the gate. ​
Unlock all the orbs of a gate to open it

Enermeter

Each Enermeter has a personal frequency, if you can load them with energy corresponding to that frequency, 
the machinery disappears. 
There are two kind of Enermeter :

Frequency
​Blue energy adds positive value.
Red energy add negative value.
​Yellow energy reset the value.
Continue to hit the Enermeter unitl you find the correct value

Blue energy add a blue token.
Red energy add a red token.
Yellow energy take off a token.
Enter the right sequence to make the Enermeter disappear
Segment Strings

These matrices consist of a variable number of elements. The elements are of three different types.
​When three elements of the same type match, they disappears.

​If you can make half or more elements disappears, you unlock the matrix

Blue energy swap the position of the element with the element to the right.
Red energy swap the position of the element with the element to the left.
Yellow energy returns the element to its original position

Magnetic Radiant

The section can be turned on or off, using a energy of different polarity.
A section of polarity A is turned On with Blue energy and turned Off by Red energy,
vice versa, a section with polarity B is turned On with Red energy and turned Off by Blue energy.

When you hit a section that borders on a section with reverse polarity, both are affected
