This project want to study the possibility of using
Switch Screen to evolve the concept of board game

Players sit around the Switch Screen, interacting with the Touchscreen
and a device, integrated through the implementation of Bluetooth technology,

in order to increase the number of interactions to the games
and add a system of 
information which only a single Player can know,

Each Player participates the common game, which exists on the Switch Screen,
through a personal Screen, such as a tablet (or a smartphone)​

When Friction of a cell is a negative value, you get some bonus :

- 10% : increase Speed of Units by 10%
- 20% : Building built over this cell earns 10% Hp
- 50% : Each cell has a 30% chance of hide sub-funds bonus, such as Energy or Resources​

When 2 or more Units are in cells adjacent to opposing Units or Npc,
and the sum of the Mtk your Units is greater than the Hp of that Unit, it is captured

When two enemy units are in compatible positions, you can attack

When an attack occur the Hp of the Unit that suffer the attack is decreased 
by value equal to the Mtk of the Unit that attack.
When this happen the opponent can decides to spend Energy
to ​decrease the damage by a value equal to the Def of the Unit

Each unit has different characteristics that determine its behavior and interactions
Cost : The number of Plasma needed to create the Unit

Hp: The Heart Points of the Unit. When this variable becomes 0, the Unit is destroyed

E : Energy of the Unit have to spend to act

Mov : The number of E that the Unit has to spend to move by 1 cell (without calculate the Friction)

Dig : The number of E that the Unit has to spend to Dig 1 cell by 10%

Build : The number of E that the Unit has to spend, each turn, while working on a Building

Mtk : The first number indicates the number of E that the Unit has to spend to perform a melee attack.
         The second number indicates the damage the Unit deal with that attack

Rtk : The first number indicates the number of E the unit has to spend to perform an attack by 1 cell afar.
         The second number indicates damage the Unit deal with that attack

Def: The first number indicates the number of E that the Unit has to spend, while suffering an attack,
        
to decrease that damage by a value equal to the second number

A party game based on artistic attitudes played by Teams of two Players

Each Team is composed by P1 and P2.
In turn, Players move the paws on the table, throwing dices.
The Board is randomly generated each game

On the Board there are two types of cells :
Standard and Station

6 Stations are placed on the Board, one for each type of Challenge.
When a Team wins the Challenge of a Station, it gets the Station Trophy.

The first Team that gets six different Station Trophies wins the game​

Draw & Guess
P1 takes Tablet and Switch Screen. P2 can not see the Tablet.
A Word appears on Tablet.
P1 using the Touchscreen of the Swtich Screen,
draws a picture helping P2 guess that Word.
To win the Challenge P2 have to guess the Word within 2 minutes

5 Draw
P1 takes Tablet and Switch Screen.
5 simple Words (like cat, circle, car, ball, ...) appears on the Tablet.
P1 using the Touchscreen of the Swtich Screen, 
draws a picture helping  P2 guess that Words.
To win the Challenge P2 have to guess up 4 Words within 2 minutes

Rebus
P1 takes Tablet and Switch Screen.
1 Word and 5 Prohibitions appear on the Tablet.
Using the Touchscreen P1 have to draw a picture helping P2 guess that Word.
P1 can not draw a picture among the Prohibitions, and can add up 3 letters to the draw

1 Song Title appear on Tablet, a Piano appear on the Switch Screen.
Playing the Switch Screen as a Piano P1 have to make P2 guess the Song Title.
To win the Challenge P2 have to guess the Song Title within 3 minutes

Jukebox
P1 and P2 take the Tablet. Switch Screen play a Song.
A Keyboard appear on the Tablet.
If P1 and P2 write the Song Title on the Keyboard, they gain 1 point,
and Switch Screen play another Song.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to guess up to 5 song within 4 minutes

P1 take the Tablet.
A Song Title appear on the Tablet.
P1 emit sound by his mouth, P1 can make any sound, but do not punctuate words.
To win the Challenges P2 have to guess the Song Title within 3 minutes



Gesture

A World appear on the Tablet.
P1 doing mime have to make P2 guess the Word.

To win the Challenge P2 have to guess the Word within 3 minutes

P1 take the Tablet.

P2 relaxes muscles and P1 move the body of P2 so P2 mime the Word.

Back Draw
P1 take the Tablet.
A Word appear on the Tablet.
P1, using fingers, "draw" on the back of P2.
To win the Challenge P2 have to guess the Word within 3 minutes



Words
​

Cube
P1 and P2 take the Switch Screen.
On Switch Screen a Cube composed of 16 Cells appear. Each Cell contain a random Letter.
P1 and P2, touching the Letters, compose words of complete meaning.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to compose up to 10 Words within 3 minutes
​
Strings
P1 and P2 take the Tablet and the Switch Screen.
On the Tablet appear a Keyboard and on the Switch Screen appear a Square.
Inside the Square there are a Hidden Word and a Definition.
Players can only see 1 letter of the Hidden Word.
Each 5 second, a letter is added to the Hidden Word.
When P1 and P2 guess the Word they gain 1 point and another Word appear on the Square.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to guess up to 10 Words within 4 minutes

Example :

Definition : You can play it indoors and outdoors
Hidden Word : ----i-
After fifteen seconds : -e-nis

Forbidden
P1 take the Tablet.
A Word and 5 Forbidden Words appear on the Tablet.
P1 describes the Word, trying to make P2 guess it.
If P1 say one of the 5 Forbidden Words, the Challenge is lost.
To win the Challenge P2 have to guess the Words within 2 minutes

Question

Quiz
P1 and P2 take the Table and Switch Screen.
A Question appear on the Switch Screen and 4 Answer appear on the Tablet.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to touch the correct answer

P1 and P2 take the Table and Switch Screen.
A Request appear on the Switch Screen and 4 Word appear on the Tablet.
To Win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to guess the right order within 2 minutes

Request : Put the creation of these technological objects in chronological order
Words : Telephone, Radio, Combustion Engine, Electric Oven

P1 take the Tablet and P2 take the Switch Screen.
A Questions appear on the Tablet. two buttons (True and False) appear on the Switch Screen.
P1 read the Question to P2, P2 have to touch True or False.
When P2 give an answner another Question appear, if P2 answer right they gain 1 point.
To win the Challenge P2 have to answer right up to 10 Question within 2 minutes

Charade
P1 and P2 take the Switch Screen.
On the Tablet appear a Charade.
P1 and P2, using the Switch Screen Touchscreen, have to solve it.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to solve the Charade within 2 minutes

Surreal
1 and P2 take the Switch Screen.
A Draw appear on the Switch Screen.
P1 and P2, using the Touchscreen, have to tap every part of the Draw that does not make sense.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to find every surreal things on the Draw, within 3 minutes


Example :
The Draw depicts a scale on which an elephant and a mouse are placed.
The arm on which the elephant is located is raised

Story
P1 and P2 take the Switch Screen.
A Story and a Question appear on the Switch Screen.
To win the Challenge P1 and P2 have to answer right to the Question within 2 minutes

Example :

Story:
Marion is killed. The investigator questions 3 suspects.
Jerome says: "i slept for two hours, i did not notice anything".
Cecile says: "i fill the tub and i take a bath".
Marco says: "i was repairing the bike in the garage".
Investigator inspect the houses.
In Jerome's room the bed is unmade and the window is open.
In the Cecilia bathroom the tub is full and the window is closed.
The Marco garage is greasy and the bike is adjusted

Additional Difficulties

Challenges could have additional conditions to increase their difficult

 Let's see some examples:
All vs All
Applicable in Challenges where only P2 have to guess.
All Players can guess, if an opponent Player guesses instead of P2,
the Challenge is considered lost

Applicable in Challenges that need specific number of points to be win.
All Players face the Challenges, if another Team score more point then you,
the Challenge is considered lost

Applicable in Challenges that need a right answer to be win.
If another Team give the right answer after than your Team,
the Challenge is considered lost

Applicable to Challenges that require a answers.

Cards

Cards are stored in the Tablet.
They can be used in any time - according to their effect -
by touching them on the Touchscreen.
Some examples of Card :
Clock : Increase the time of a Challenge by 2.30 minute
Reset : Start again a Challenge, resetting the parameters
Settle : Delete the Additional Difficult of a Challenge
Bonus : In a multiple-choice Challenge, use this card to get 1 answer
Bet : Increase by 1 the difficulty of a Challenge, if you win increase the Reward
Ghost : When an opposing Team uses a card, it cancels its effect and you obtains possession of that Card

The screen visible on the Tablet.
It shows the gained Station Trophy and the Cards you have collected

Player Jaak suffers critical damage in battle,

Players are in a dark room, they ask to Master what they can see, Master answers "you see a door at the bottom of the corridor".
Jaak reminds to Master of having the Ability "Cat's Eye", Master gives an additional information to Jaak only,

using a private message in Chat mode, he writes "you see a guillotine above the door"​
Work
Character's own competence

They are used to overcome certain tests and perform special actions

Example :


Players are in front of a closed door, too resistant to be broken down. 
Player Jaak says to Master, "i try to break the lock using my Lock Picking ability".
Master accesses the Event Machine to see the result of the action

Jaak have "Cobalt" and "Ariyria". He says to Master : ​"I use my Alchemy Ability". 
Master asks Jaak what objects he wants to use for the operation.
Master using the Setting option removes 2 ampoules, ​1 Cobalt and 1 Ariyria from Jaak's chart, 
​
and then activates the Event Machine

Equip

Show the active equipment of the character
Tapping on an equipment you can change it.
Statistics are automatically updated and transmitted to the Master Tablet

Object

This screen lists all the objects owned by the character

Players can use this messaging system application
​to exchange non-public information

By pressing the appropriate button Master can manage every aspect of the game

The screen shows a map, which shows the place where the Players are located,

You can also search for specific maps via the searching bar​

Setting

Battle

When Master press the Battle button,
the Battle version of the map of the place where the Players are located,

While the Game Map is uniquely figurative, and helps Players
visualize the game action and decide how play, 
Battle Map is interactive

When a battle begins,
Pawns representing Players and enemies are placed on the map. 

A turn order is calculated based on the statistics of the characters

As in classic table role-playing games, during his own turn, the Player explains to Master what action he intends
to perform, and Master make that into play, moving the Pawns on the Switch Screen and modifying
the Player ​and enemies statistics, through the Master Tablet

Chat

Master can create specific Chat Rooms to communicate
​information that have to be known only by certain players

​Event Machine

A support to the work of Master.
The Event Machine can calculate the outcome of different dynamics based on the game mechanics​
The buttons in the columns are sets that contain all the game objects and interactions

Player : It contains all possibilities about a selected Player like statistics, Ability, Object, ...

Interaction : Common actions, like Touch, Watch, Read, Move, Operate, ...

Npc : List of Npcs that are in the same zone as the Players

Object : List of Objects that are in the same zone of Players and in Players and Npc inventory

Enemy : List of Enemies that are in the same zone of the Players

In this case Master inserted "Jaak" and "Alchemy",
the Event Machine requested to insert the reagents for the operation
