Control Shiro'an through Classic Control

Use Motion Control to summon
the ​Spirits of Vengeance

The evocation of the Spirits can be used in many ways :​

Extend your combos

Perform powerful double attacks

The Ju region is a remote territory located on the Ghuan plateau.
​Its particular position make it a place
​of great geopolitical importance

For thousands of years the nations of Sang-heng, ​Uf and Urè
have tried to conquer the territory to obtain supremacy over
​the neighboring nations, without ever succeeding in occupying it

When emperor Tatsuomi decides to cede sovereignty 
of the country to the highest bidder, a popular vote is called :
the result rejects the cession ​of the nation's independence

A great famine rages in the land of Ju making the nation weak
and submissive. Neighboring nations once again
​march to attack the land

Shiro'an, the general of the royal army, investigates and discovers
​that at night, several convoys steal food from the royal reserves

Shiro'an goes to the emperor's court
to ​inform him of the tragic discovery !

Shiro'an is imprisoned and tortured.
​He is taken in a distant dungeon and then killed

Death is not Shiro'an fate.
When the rancor of the unjustly fallen warriors meets
the dying spirit of the great general of Ju, ​miracle happens !

The game camera is located behind Shiro'an.
In this way you can manage the movements of the Character 
​​and direct the special attacks through Motion Control

Defend
Hold B to Defend. In this mode you do not suffer damages, but if you get hit
​by too many attacks, your defense is broken and you become vulnerable

Jump
Press X to Jump. You can raise up to different levels and places,
​dodge particular attacks and performs special aerial techniques 

Dodge
Use A to Dodge. While you do this, tilt the Control Stick in a certain direction
to make a short movement in that direction. You have some invincible frames.
​Using this move with the right timing you can execute powerful counterattack

Dash
Press Y to Dash. By tilting the Control Stick Shiro'an perform a long leap
​in that direction. Use this move to control the terrain

Each attack is distinguished by three parameters

Frame
The number of frame
​of the attack animation
30 frames corresponds to 1 second

Power
The damages the attacks deals

Lag
A post-attack animation
that runs automatically before
​another attack can be execute

Each Dorsal Button corresponds to an attack.
You can press multiple keys at the same time to perform special attacks.
​You can press 1, 2, 3 or 4 keys at the same time

Shun'ni'an

​
​During the peasant rebellion of the Jin era, Shun'nian abdicated
his role of leader of the royal militias to lead the revolution
of the oppressed people. Under the advice of the minister of war,

to foment violent actions. Shin'ni'an was accused of wanting take advantage of the feud to obtain the throne of Ju region.

His spirit enhance Shiro'an physical abilities,
​such as running, jumping and dodging

Lee'lo'lan

​Lee'lo'len, skilled swordsman and brilliant alchemist,
discover a method of filtering muddy water using active
ingredient of Shorme algae. Thanks to this method citizens were able to avoid the royal court's water-tax, enriching themselves
and improving life throughout all the rural area.
When the emperor find out the situation, he made the heads
​of an entire generation of laborers cut off
and all the greatest alchemist buried alive

The summon of Lee'lo'lan is particularly useful for extending combos and hitting medium range enemies.
​This spirit can chain up to three attacks before disappearing

Sakumi'rin

​Talented and brave, she trained hard from early age
to help to her sister Empress. When the noble Surimi'rin died
for an incurable disease, Sakumi'rin studied diligently
and steadfastly to become a righteous and enlightened empress. His body slowly faded, weaker and weaker, until she died.
She never knew his cousin Tatsuomi diluted drops of mercury
​in his libation, every day

Sakumi'rin was the best archer in Ju kingdom.
By summoning her, you can shoot powerful spiritual arrow
​against enemies located at any distance

​Assume the archery pose.
Move the front Joycon to aim.
When you want ​to shoot,
turn the back Joycon 
​in a horizontal position,
​turning the wrist

​Hold the archery pose for more
the three seconds to charge
​the shot of magic power

While charging the shot
you can move the viewfinder against multiple targets. 
Several magical arrow

Jian'shi

​Jian'shi, mighty warrior and fine strategist.
He led the advance of Mount suguru, conquering the outpost
in ten weeks. When the government of Fion accused the Ju region of undertake a campaign of conquest in foreign territory,
the emperor accused the general Jian'shi of hatched a plan
of invasion, and execute him to punish the crime

Jian'shi attacks are slow but devastating.
​This spirit remains on the terrain for few seconds
​after an attack, becoming a temporary shield

Tetsuo'chorai

​Tetsuo'chorai was about to leave for the Chofei Pass
to lead the resistance group of the ridge. On the evening
of his departure he was invited to the court of Joji, the infant emperor. When he was prevented from leaving to take part
in the fight tournament for the sovereign's birthday, he accept
to please him. When he find out the deaths of thousands
of Ju's citizens, his heart reacted and he cut
​the veins from his wrists

The summoning of Tetsuo'chorai is based on defense.
​He is able to withstand the attack of many enemies simultaneously and to counterattack theme

​Bring both your arms in front
of your chest to summon
​an impenetrable defense

Cross your arms to prepare
​a counterattack 

​Place your arms parallel
to evoke a flow of energy capable of push away all enemies around

​Combo example

Hit hard the enemy. When is pushed away, summon Lee'lo'len's thrust to extend the combo.
​The enemy is pushed away again, hit him from afar with Sakumi'rin's arrow

Jian'shi throw the enemy into air. Perform a super jump thanks to Shun'ni'an's power
and ​execute an air strike to impale the opponent

While Tetsuo'chorai deflect an attack, raise an arm to channel
the ​spiritual power into Lee'lo'lan's sword, then execute a powerful double attack

Hit the enemy hard, when is pushed away, reach him with a
​superior dash and hit him with a powerful double sword slash
